Implementation of Course Engagement Questionnaire for Third Quarter(Request)

Thank you for your cooperation in managing the Course Engagement Questionnaire.
We will conduct the “Course Engagement Questionnaire” in all classes in this third quarter, so please look at the instruction below, and ask your students in person or in online classes to answer the “Course Engagement Questionnaire.”
There is no change in the response period for students, but there has been a change in the timing of disclosing results to course instructors and entering comments, which will now be done twice a year, once in the first and second semesters, after grades are entered. The results will be available to the public for a period of one year from the day after the comment entry period ends.
This “Course Engagement Questionnaire” is intended to give feedback to each class as well as university education to improve faculty’s lectures and university educational management system.
In addition, it helps students self-development by looking back what skill and/or ability they acquire in each class through the Portfolio system, where part of the answers of “Course Engagement Questionnaire” are accumulated.
Whenever possible, please set aside time for students during the in-person or online class to complete the survey.
Classes surveyed: All classes offered in this third quarter (including practical subjects)

Time for response: Wednesday, November 12th to Tuesday, December 9th in 2025.
*The response period differs from the normal period for courses whose end dates have been changed.
Requests: Ask students to answer the “Course Engagement Questionnaire,” and whenever possible, set aside time for students during the in-person or online class to complete the survey in the last two weeks of the this third quarter.
How to access: Log in from the NU-Web system, go to “Questionnaire” and then “Course Engagement Questionnaire”.
Students will receive an email from the Center at the start of the survey. For those who do not answer the Questionnaire by 14days before the deadline for response (Wednesday, November 26th, 2025), a reminder email will be sent, and for those who do not answer it by 7days before the deadline (Wednesday, December 3th), a response request alert will appear on the LACS.
